An experience at a hospital or doctor’s office doesn’t begin in the treatment room and end in the recovery room—inevitably, there is a large amount of time spent in the waiting room.

Play Date draws on research into “positive distraction” in pediatric healthcare that helps children transform the waiting room experience into a positive one using interactive play and their own imagination. The decrease of anxiety that Play Date provides leads to patients that are both happier and healthier.

Play Date, is a total wall system combining a ferrous wallcovering and a set of vividly colored magnetic shapes. These two elements, sold separately, create an environment that is interactive, flexible, highly durable and fun.
